Well that "bonnet" looks like it would generate some lift! I would mount a wing down there, maybe a black air dam so you couldn't see it very well, it would send the flow around. Maybe this is what happened to McLaren this season...They claim wind tunnel correlation issues...

It's powered by an old Ford Festiva, it can't go fast enough to generate downforce or lift

The car is already flipped so if you flip it again then you will still be right side up, regardless of whether it is flipped or unflipped.
